Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson) arrived at Empire’s all-white party and squared off with Camilla Marks (Naomi Campbell) in a stunning $1,950 Gucci Halterneck Silk-Cady Jumpsuit. This cream, elongated romper is one of my favorite pieces Cookie has worn thus far. If you’re more interested in Camilla’s look, she donned a $12,000 white embellished Marc Bouwer couture dress.
Featuring an elegant open back, this halter jumpsuit is crafted from cream silk cady. There’s a concealed button fastening at the halterneck and a concealed zip fastening along the back. Lastly, there is a horizontal band at the waist to snatch one’s figure to the heavens. Cookie looked downright delish, wouldn’t you say? She dipped into Monique Mosley’s (Timbaland’s wife) personal collection for her Roberto Cavalli jewelry.
On her feet are a pair of Christian Louboutin Daffodile Snakeskin Platform Pumps in Stone. Not to speak ill against Miss Cookie but sometimes her shoe selections baffle me! The Daffodile is a bit heavy for this ensemble, but a dainty, gold sandal would’ve been too boring, no?
