Like generations of families, I too grew up with JOHNSON’S® Baby products and their classic scent and feel. In fact, before I go to bed I sometimes use JOHNSON’S® Bedtime Lotion, enriched with lavender, to lull Luca and myself to sleep!
—Johnson’s Baby brand ambassador Hillary Duff
Towards the end of February, Johnson’s Baby reached out to me to become of their official brand ambassadors on their Johnson’s Baby Cares Council platform. I was absolutely shocked to even be considered. Fast-forward to me finally sharing this great news with the Blaq Vixen Beauty family.
Additionally, Johnson’s Baby helps families by baby care essentials and unyielding support during the most traumatic of times. To “Save the Children,” Johnson has recruited select mommy and beauty bloggers to join their JOHNSON’S BABY CARES council.
This new platform boasts the likes of triple threat Hillary Duff (she’s a recording artist, actress and a new mom) and makeup extraordinaire Tia Dantzler (she’s perfected the faces of Jennifer Hudson, Maxwell and President Obama). Duff has lent her time to help Johnson’s Baby assemble “care kits” in hopes that these packages will be a godsend to those in high risk areas.
You can give to the cause by:
- Purchasing any Johnson’s Baby product at retail stores with a $0.50 coupon between now and June 10, 2012 (if you’ve used a coupon since April 15 that counts as well). Johnson’s Baby will give 50% or $0.25 to the Save the Children organization. I’m partial to Johnson’s Baby Creamy Oil in Cocoa Butter. I can never find it in stores!
Keep up with new developments in the program by visiting Johnson’s Baby on Facebook and, of course, here! In the meantime, try this summer beauty tip from Tia Dantzler:
After applying JOHNSON’S® Baby Oil Gel to your legs, add a shimmery bronzer down the front to give the appearance of long, flawless legs with a glow.
