Kerry Washington 2013 Oscar Makeup

I am obsessed with Kerry Washington. I’ve said this before and it still rings true today. I have a crush on her lips alone. This is also the woman who plays the fascinating Olivia Pope every Thursday night. Washington wore natural makeup with touches of rose and berry for the 2013 Oscars. I did not love the bodice of her Miu Miu gown. However, I will say it was a gorgeous color for her skin tone. The happy hue seemed to make her glow with the promise of spring and romance.

Washington’s makeup artist Carola Gonzalez shared on Twitter some of the products she used for Kerry’s soft rosy look.
Kerry Washington brightened up the Oscars red carpet with a natural look with just a hint of color on her eyes and cheeks.
Fans of Kerry Washington on Scandal – and readers of this blog – will know that Kerry wears Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in #9. However, for this very special occasion, Gonzalez brought out the reinforcements – Giorgio Armani Maestro Fusion Makeup in #10 as a base along with Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer in #11 for the glow.
The eyes were decked out with swipes from the Lancome Color Design 5-Pan Shadow and Liner Palette in Sienna Sultry, which consisted of five shimmering and matte shadows in tones of beige, pink, taupe, copper and chocolate. Lastly, Gonzalez chose Lancome Hypnose Star Mascara to finish the look.
Gonzalez created Kerry’s pretty pout with Lancome Rouge in Love in Rose Boudoir punched up with Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro in 202 Dolci. Her cheekbones were enhanced with Lancome Blush Subtil in Shimmer Brilliant Berry.
