Michelle Obama’s #SOTU Michael Kors Grey Tweed Origami Skirt Suit
FLOTUS Michelle Obama knows the power of grey. No, seriously she does. First, as you might recall, she donned shimmering grey lavender nails (the color in question was Artistic Nail Design Soak Off Colour Gloss in Vogue) at the 2012 Democratic National Convention. And now, the mom-in-chief turned to the chic shade again for the 2015 State of the Union. This time, she dazzled in a Michael Kors Grey Tweed Origami Jacket with Foldover Collar ($797; back in stock) with the matching Tweed Skirt ($597 the zip-slit rested at the rear). Both pieces are on sale now at Neiman Marcus. Sign up for eBates before you go shopping to receive cash back! Could you imagine if…

Achieve Your Favorite TV Actresses’ Hair with Motions
Feature image courtesy of Essence.com. This is a sponsored post for Motions through The bLink Marketing Network and Lunchbox, all opinions are 100% my own. The overall look was old-Hollywood glam and she definitely pulled it off!” exclaimed Stephen. Here’s how to get the look:

Marsha Ambrosius Sleek BET Awards Fishtail Braid
Marsha Ambrosius’ look on the 2014 BET awards red carpet was a combination of sleek and edgy. As told to Blaq Vixen Beauty by celebrity hairstylist Tiffany Daugherty. Check out her profile at Epiphany Agency. Her natural hair was shampooed and conditioned using Motions Straight Finish Cleanser and Straight Finish Leave-In Conditioner. This conditioned the hair and created the base for the sleek look. After the Leave-In Conditioner was applied, the hair was blown dry with a medium paddle brush and a Cricket Q-Zone Professional Lightweight Dryer. The hair was then flat ironed with a Sedu flat iron to give a more smooth effect.
