Naomie Harris Met Ball Makeup
The inspiration for Naomie Harris Met Ball Makeup was punk chic. As told to Blaq Vixen Beauty by celebrity makeup artist Lucky Smyler. Edited for clarity. Kevyn Aucoin & Urban Decay | Naomie Harris Met Ball Makeup I framed the face by penciling in her eyebrows with Kevyn Aucoin Brow Pencil in Brunette. Then, I primed the eyelid with Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. This step is very essential. MAC, Bobbi Brown, Tom Ford, NARS, & Dior | Naomie Harris Met Ball Makeup I placed a light dusting of MAC Eyeshadow in Ricepaper under the brow, then swept Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow in Blonde all over the lid. I wanted all of the focus to be…

Urban Beauty Legend: Toni Braxton’s Makeup Line
Recently, entertainment blogger Sandra Rose conducted an interview with Toni Braxton’s personal assistant Zo. Amber Riley Essence Magazine Makeup
Yesterday I finally picked up the March 2011 issue of Essence Magazine (with Angela Bassett on the cover). I was looking forward to a couple of features in this particular issue – the Essence 2011 Beauty Awards, Angela Bassett’s “Unstoppable” and of course, Amber Riley’s “She’s Every Woman” photoshoot. I shot celebrity makeup artist Saisha Beecham an email after she revealed that she did Riley’s makeup on Facebook. I am totally grateful that Saisha emailed me back, and I’m able to share this information with you all! She used all NARS Cosmetics. You can check out her Facebook and Twitter.
